Richmond International Airport RIC serves Virginia's Henrico County and the greater area of Richmond. It is within an hour’s drive of historic Williamsburg and a two-hour drive from Washington, D.C., the Blue Ridge Mountains and Virginia Beach.

The Airport is located on Airport Drive, in the town of Sandston, and is only seven miles southeast of the capital city of Richmond, Virginia. The new 1.6-miil Airport connector leads directly from Pacahontas 895 to Ariport Drive at Charles City Road. Richmond Airport  is also accessible via Interstate Hwy. 64 (Exit 197A) or I-295 (Exit 31). 

With three runways and an estimated 1.7 million passengers a year, Richmond International is served by many major regular & low-fare airlines, offering nonstop flights to a host of destinations with worldwide connections. Passengers at RIC Airport can now find an alternative connection to to Europe--by flying AirCanada via Toronto.

The on-Airport  'Doubletree Hotel Richmond Airport' is located on on Airport Drive, near Charles City Road.

The new passenger terminal at Richmond International Airport, opened in 2007, consists of two levels and Concourses A & B.  (For detailed terminal information, click on 'Terminal Map'.)

If you need to pick up a passenger at RIC Airport,  you have two choices (a) use the free Cell Phone Lot just off Terminal Drive, near the South parking garage. Wait until your arriving party has picked up luggage and calls you to be picked up at the curb. (b) You can also park for for up to 60 minutes free in the hourly/daily sections of the North & South Parking Garage and pick up your party inside the terminal.

Other parking options at Richmond Airport:
1. For hourly parking use the ground level o the North or South garages,which offer the first 60 minutes free - ideal for pickup/droopoff.
2. For daily & hourly parking use the North & South Garage located in front of the terminal. All garages are within walking distance of the terminal.
3. . For Economy parking use either Lots A or B, located next to Airport Drive on Eubank Road, half a mile from the terminal, across from the Doubletree Hotel, while Lot C is a mile south of the terminal. Free frequent & accessible shuttles (tel. 804-236-4932) to the terminal run 24/7;
3. Valet Parking (804-226-3089) is available at the terminal departure curb - your vehicle is parked returned to you at the curb.
4. Disabled parking is available in all parking facilities.
Payment options: Parking fees can be paid either (a) at the cashier available at all parking facilities; (b) using AutoExpress - pay stations are throughout the upper & lower passenger terminal levels and in the North & South parking garages; or (c) using Credit Card at select lanes in the daily & hourly garage exit plaza, and when exiting Economy lot A).
