  • RSW Airport Overview
    Southwest Florida International (RSW) Airport is located on Florida’s subtropical Gulf Coast southeast of Fort Myers. As a popular vacation destination with both American and international travelers, the airport is served by 16 domestic and four international airlines providing nonstop service to over 31 airports including Dusseldorf and Frankfort, Germany and Toronto, Canada. Fort Meyers RSW airport currently consists of a two-level terminal building with two concourses extending from it. To accommodate projected increases in passenger numbers, the airport constructed a new Midfield Terminal Complex, which opened in 2005. The $438 million project includes a 798,000-square-foot terminal with 28 gates and room to add more.

  • Baggage Carts / Skycap
    Baggage Carts are available at the entrances and exits and in the Baggage Claim area. Skycap service is also available throughout the airport to persons needing special assistance.


  • Baggage Claim
    Baggage claim is located on the lower level of the Main Terminal.


  • Banking / ATM Services
    Automated teller machines are located near the escalators on both terminal levels.


  • Business Services
    A public business center, located on the second level in the center of the terminal and open 24-hours a day, provides telephones, fax and copy machines, a FedEx Shipping Site, TDD telephones and room to catch up on paperwork. Travelex, which is also located in the business center, offers currency exchange services as well as Western Union, money orders, US Travelers checks, calling cards and other services during scheduled business hours.


  • Concourses
    There is a Main Terminal with two Concourses – A and B.


  • Emergency / Medical Services
    In an emergency, dial 911 from a courtesy phone, pay phone or cell phone.


  • Flight Information Monitors
    Flight Information monitors are located throughout the terminal and concourses.


  • International Travelers
    International Arrivals and Immigration are located near gate A1.


  • Internet Access
    The Business Center, located near Chili’s Too on the second floor of the terminal, is equipped with fax machines, a copier, pay phones and Internet connections.


  • Lost & Found
    There are two Lost & Found Offices at Southwest Florida International Airport. Items lost at Security Screening Checkpoints are collected by the Transportation Security Administration. All other lost items are collected by the Lee County Port Authority Police Department.

  • Mail Center / U.S. Post Office
    U.S. Postal Self-Service Center is located conveniently within the terminal.


  • Main Terminal / Concourses
    Southwest Florida International Airport has one Main Terminal and two concourses – A and B.


  • Meeting / Conference Rooms
    There is a public Business Center located on the Upper Level of the Main Terminal.


  • People With Special Needs / Persons With Disabilities
    The airport offers handicap accommodations throughout the airport including:

    Disabled Parking:
    Disabled parking is available. Vehicles must display a valid Disabled license plate or placard.

    TDD Telephones are available in the Main Terminal and on both concourses.

    Wheelchairs:
    Wheelchair service is provided by the airlines. Please contact them in advance. If you are already at the airport and need a wheelchair, contact a skycap or the Airport Information booth located on the lower level of the main terminal.

    Restrooms:
    Restrooms are available for passengers with special needs.


  • Pets / Animals
    Animals are not permitted in the terminals at the Airport unless they are being used to assist disabled individuals, or are in proper pet carriers.

    Restrooms are conveniently located throughout the terminal and concourses.
