Airport Terminal Layout
The Southwest Florida Airport is designed with four main terminals: Concourse B, Concourse C, Concourse D, and the Main Terminal. Each terminal is designed to provide travelers with a comfortable and convenient experience. The airport has a user-friendly layout that makes it easy to navigate.
Overview of Terminals
The Main Terminal is the airport's largest terminal and is home to the majority of the airport's amenities, including restaurants, shops, and lounges. It also houses the airport's baggage claim area and ticketing counters. Concourse B is primarily used by Delta Airlines and American Airlines, while Concourse C is used by United Airlines and JetBlue Airways. Concourse D is used by Southwest Airlines.
Getting Between Terminals
Travelers can easily get between the terminals by using the airport's shuttle service. The shuttle runs continuously between the Main Terminal and Concourses B, C, and D. The shuttle is free of charge and runs every few minutes, making it easy for travelers to catch their connecting flights. In addition to food and shopping, RSW also offers a variety of amenities and services to make your travel experience more comfortable. Need to freshen up before your flight? Head to one of the airport's restrooms or shower facilities. Need to get some work done? There are plenty of charging stations and free Wi-Fi throughout the airport. Other amenities include a children's play area, a pet relief area, and a meditation room for those looking to relax before their flight.
Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has multiple security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the Main Terminal, before the Concourse B and C entrances. There are also additional security checkpoints located at the entrances to Concourse D and at the entrance to Concourse C. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to allow enough time to go through security.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
RSW offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track program is available for a fee and allows passengers to use a dedicated lane for security screening. The Fast Track lane is located at the main security checkpoint in the Main Terminal. Passengers can purchase the Fast Track program online or at the airport.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Southwest Florida Airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in the Main Terminal. Passengers arriving from international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at this facility. The CBP facility is open daily from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Passengers are advised to have all necessary travel documents ready and to allow enough time for the passport and immigration process.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Fort Myers Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints available for passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which can save time and hassle at the airport. To apply for TSA Pre Check, passengers must complete an online application and schedule an appointment for an in-person background check. TSA Pre Check is available at select airports across the United States, including RSW Airport.
Global Entry Locations
Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. the airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can complete their Global Entry application and interview. These locations include the Global Entry Enrollment Center in Fort Myers and the Enrollment on Arrival program at Miami International Airport. It is recommended that travelers schedule their Global Entry interview in advance to ensure availability.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Airport Lounge Locations
RSW offers several lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flights.
The Delta Sky Club lounge is located in Concourse B and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and beverages, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The United Club lounge is located in Concourse C and features a variety of seating options, including private workstations and a quiet zone. The American Airlines Admirals Club lounge is located in Concourse D and offers a range of amenities, including a full-service bar, shower facilities, and complimentary snacks and beverages. Additionally, the airport's Main Terminal features the Escape Lounge, which is open to all passengers and offers a selection of food and beverages, as well as comfortable seating and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Baggage Claim Areas
Southwest Florida Airport has four baggage claim areas located in the main terminal. Baggage claim carousels are clearly marked with flight information and airline logos to help passengers locate their luggage. The airport staff is always available to assist passengers with any questions or concerns regarding baggage claim.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available for passengers to use free of charge at Fort Myers Airport. The carts are located throughout the terminal building and near baggage claim areas. Passengers can easily identify the carts by their bright yellow color and the airport logo. The carts are easy to maneuver and can hold multiple bags, making it convenient for passengers to transport their luggage.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
RSW Airport does not have a left luggage facility. However, passengers can store their luggage at several off-site locations near the airport.
