Main Terminal / Concourses at Southwest Florida RSW Airport

Southwest Florida International Airport has a 3-level passenger terminal with Concourses B, C & D.  (Concourse A & E have been reserved for future expansion), and 28 airline gates. Customs & Immigration are on the lower level of Concourse B. International arrivals has two gates and an international transit lounge. 
Entry to all concourses requires boarding pass & ID, as well as going through separate TSA security checks.
Both Main Terminal and concourses offer food & drink & retail concessions.
    The lower level is the Arrivals level and houses the baggage claim area, Information desk, .
    The ground/main level of the terminal houses a nice selection of food & drink, a newsstand and some stores.
    The upper level is the Departures level housing three sections of ticket counters corresponding to the airlines served by Concourses:
       For Air Canada & Air Berlin use entrance doors 1 & 2 for Concourse B;
       For United & Southwest use entrance doors 3 and 4 to ticket counters 3 - 7 for Concourse C ;
       For US Airways, Spirit & JetBlue use entrance doors 5 & 6 for ticket counters 8, 9 & 10 for Concourse D.
Elevators and escalators take you to the security checkpoints of Concourses B, C & D and their gates.
    Concourse B of with gates B1 to B9, is presently served by Air Berlin, Air Canada, Frontier, & Southwest, and offers a few food & drink establishments, stores & an ATM machine.
    Concourse C with gates C1 to C9, is presently served by Delta/ Delta Connection, United & WestJet airlines, and offers a few food & drink establishments & stores.
    Concourse D with gates D1 to D10, is presently served by American, JetBlue, Silver, Spirit, Sun Country & US Airways, and offers a few food & drink establishments, stores & an ATM machine.  NOTE: between gates D8 & D10 is the elevator/ escalator to the lower level Commuter Plane access.

Recently completed projects:
 - Paradies Shops is upgraded & added new shops: in 2015  (new Dylans Candy Bar, improved entry to Brighton Collectibles, redesigned Coastal News & addied e-Savvy stores to Concourses B & D.)
- The Closed-Circuit Television system required installation of 125 cameras & related infrastructure at the 3 security checkpoints of Concourses B, C & D, and in areas of ticketing lobby, sterile areas in concourses & baggage claim spaces, as well as upgrades to the existing analog system,
Projects to be completed:
- As of August 31, 2016, the north ramp perimeter fence has been removed.  The current analog system has been upgraded to a digital sytsem- including integration of other systems tying into the public announcement system (PAS)..
- As of Fall 2016, seven of the TSA-owned explosive Detection System (EDS) machines will be upgraded.
- As of Nov. 2016, Paradies Lagardere completed changeover of Sanibel books & Bean to Sanbel Marketplace, and added seats & tables at Dunkin Donuts.
- As of year-end 2016, the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system with 125 cameras and related infrastructure will be in place.
