  • GEG Airport Overview
    Spokane International Airport GEG is located near Interstate Hwy 90 (Exit 277) and Hwys 195 and 2, outside of the City of Spokane, Washington. It is owned by the City and County of Spokane, Washington, and is the State's second-largest airport. The Airport provides access to the heart of the Inland Northwest, a region that encompasses eastern Washington, northern Idaho and western Montana. More than 3.5 million passengers a year are being processed by the Airport. Many airlines serve the airpot with nonstop flights to numerous destinations, including daily departures to Seattle, and connections worldwide. The Ramada hotel and Wingate Inn are on Airport Drive, close to the passenger terminal.

    Spokane airport has a long and narrow main passenger terminal with three extending concourses--Concourses A and B are close to each other and use the same security checkpoint, while Concourse C, which houses Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, is on the opposite end of terminal. A conference room is also situated on Concourse C. Shops and restaurants can be found in the main terminal and all three Concourses.
    The new rental car facility with a great choice of rental car agencies is located right next to the Terminal, with a return lot right behind it.

    If you need to pick up an arriving passenger, use the free Cell Phone Lot located within the North Shuttle Lot, off Airport Drive on Flint Road. Stay with your car until your party has collected luggage and calls you to be picked up at the curb.
    The new rental car facility with a great choice of rental car agencies is located right next to the Terminal, with a return lot right behind it. Other parking options include:
    Within the Airport Loop are theTransportation and Pickup Area, a metered parking area, the Parking Garage with two skybridges on both ends connecting to the terminal, with another Parking Garage right behind it, and followed by an Outside Parking lot. Concourse C Parking Lots are on both sides of Tower Road (credit/debit card only), North Shuttle Parking Lot (includes Cell Phone Lot) with free shuttle service is off-Airport drive--entry on Flint Road. Economy Parking can be entered both via Airport Drive and Tower Road (credit/debit card only). Electronic signs on inbound lanes inform you of parking space availability.

    To get from the Airport to your destination, you can take a taxi or limo, a hotel courtesy shuttle or door-to-door shuttle service, which can be found across from the left end of the terminal.

    The Airport has started a five-year improvement and renovation project which includes extension of the runway and terminal facility improvements, all of which are scheduled to be completed by 2013.
