Online check-in & baggage payment You can make online reservations and do your online checkin (if you have an e-ticket) for direct & connecting flights 30 to 1 hr prior to scheduled flight.
Carry-on Baggage Rules & Fees Economy Class is allowed 1 carry-on bag, with up to 6kg/13lb and measuring up to 55x40x20cm or 22x16x7in, or a total of 115cm/45in. 2. In addition, all classes can bring onboard the following personal items: and handbag/purse, overcoat, wrap or blanket; small camera and/or binoculars; umbrella, laptop computer, infant’s onboard needs; food for onboard consumption, assistive devices, or an item of similar size & weight. The total of all items is not to exceed 10kg. 3. Items exceeding the carry-on requirements, but needed to be brought onboard are considered ‘Cabin Baggage’, which includes voluminous, valuable or fragile items (i.e., art works, musical instruments, electronic equipment, etc.); acceptance thereof is subject to: (a) weight not to exceed 60kg/185lb and purchase of an additional seat; (b) items with larger dimensions or weight require the purchase of a second seat.
Checked Baggage Rules & Fees 1. Note that TAROM has switched from the weight system to the piece system. 2. A standard checked bag shall not exceed 23kg or 158 linear dimensions (height, width & length). 3. Free baggage allowance depends on your flight class and the number of bags checked in depend on the type of aircraft (for ATRs 42/72 – 3 bags maximum; for B737/Airbus – 10 bags maximum. 4. Sport equipment up to 23 kg is considered standard baggage, except for surfboard (up to 107cm) & scuba tank.
