• ERI Airport Overview
    Erie International Airport,Tom Ridge Field ERI is located close to the city of Erie, Pennsylvania, within a few miles from the shoreline of Lake Erie and close to the Townships of Asbury, Lakewood and West Millbrook, and is accessible from Interstates 90 and 79. (east- & west-bound traffic on I-90 should exit onto I-79 North and proceed toward Erie). From I-79 North, take Exit 183B and follow the exit ramp to the right to enter West 12th Street. Follow West 12th Street for three and one-half miles. The airport will be on your left. The Airport includes US customs, US Immigrations, the National Weather Service; an FBO called North Coast Air, the North Coast Air Flight School, and Northern Flights--a Charter Service. Continental Connection currently offers daily round-trip flights between Erie and its connecting hub in Cleveland; Northwest Airlines offers flights to its connecting hub in Detroit; and US Airways Express operates daily round-trip flights to Philadelphia. ERI Airport also provides charter flights from the North Coast Charter company

    The passenger terminal offers the following amenities: an information desk, an ATM machine, internet hot spots, shopping & dinining facilities, a vending area, US Customs and a 'For Kids' play area. The parking lot is located directly in front of the terminal's main doors. It is entered off the driveway, just prior to reaching the terminal building. The entrance is on the left. You have a choice of short- and long-term parking; the first 15 minutes are free. To get from the airport to your destination, you have a choice of renting a car, taking a taxi or limo or using shared-ride shuttles or hotel shuttles.

    The Erie Regional Airport Authority (ERAA) has been moving forward with a 1,900 foot extension to runway 6/24. The extension will allow the Airport to accommodate larger passenger and cargo aircraft, allow existing aircraft to fly longer distances with heavier loads, decrease weather related delays and cancellations, and to comply with Federal Aviation Administration safety regulations.
