Getting Around ROC Airport
The layout of ROC Airport features a main terminal building that branches into two concourses, known as Concourse A and Concourse B. Concourse A, also called the Frederick Douglass Concourse, houses gates A1 through A11 and is primarily used by airlines such as JetBlue, Spirit, American, Avelo, and Southwest. Concourse B, referred to as the Susan B. Anthony Concourse, includes gates B1 through B10 and serves United, Delta, and Allegiant. These concourses are accessible from the central ticketing hall, which leads to a six-lane security checkpoint.
Inside the airport, navigation is straightforward due to the clear signage directing you to both concourses, the ticketing hall, and baggage claim areas. After passing through security, you can find a variety of amenities including a food court located in the post-security area. For those arriving at ROC Airport, the baggage claim is situated on the arrivals level, equipped with four carousels. Car rental offices and airline baggage services are also conveniently positioned near these carousels. Here are a few tips to help you move around the airport efficiently:
- Follow the overhead signs for directions to your gate, baggage claim, or any other service you might need.
- If you're transferring between gates within the same concourse, it's a quick walk. However, moving between Concourse A and Concourse B might take a bit more time, so plan accordingly.
- Information desks and airport staff are available throughout the terminal if you need personal assistance or have questions.
