The terminals are served by uniformed Airport Ambassador Volunteers who are happy to assist you getting around at the airport. Internet access is available in both terminals.
International Arrivals arrive at gate A1, proceed to level 2 and take the pedestiran bridge to the Arrivals Terminal, where they pick up their bags, and go through customs. If continuing their journey, they would have to re-check-in their bags before proceeding to the main terminal and its gates.
The Main / Departure Terminal: (The Lower Level only houses Airport Police & TTY phones).
Level 1 of the Main Terminal houses all airline ticket counters.
Level 2 of the Main terminal houses Airport Administration, ATM, BB&T Bank, conference center, foreign currency exchange & mailbox, as well as food & drink & retail concessions, and access to Concourses A & B.
Concourse A serves American & Southwest airlines with gates A1 to A15 (gate A1 is for international arrivals) and offers food & drink, a newsstand, Tech on the Go, & ATM.
Concourse B serves Delta & United airlines with gates B16 to B30 and offers food & drink, a newsstand & the $10 Boutique.
Level 2's pedestrian bridge connects to the Arrivals Terminal (and to parking & rental cars).
NOTE: Recent terminal improvements included restroom renovations, upgrades to the family convenience room and adding 3 'mother's rooms' in the main lobby and concourses.
The Arrivals Terminal - connected to the Main Terminal's Level 2 & parking garage by a pedestrian bridge - has two levels:
Level 1 houses the baggage claim area, with airline offices, an ATM machine, Military Information Center & rental car desks. Outside of this level, across from carousels 4 & 5, are passenger pickup area, transport shuttle and taxi stand points..
Level 2 houses the USO Welcome Center tel. 757-444-3040), Airport Parking office & TSA Administration.
- HMSHost extended its contract to 2021. It plans to open a 'The Local@ORF, which is to become a new market-style area presenting counters with local organic ingredients, and a new restaurant 'Here's To Heroes'.
