Perth PER Airport Overview

Perth Airport PER is Western Australia's primary Airport and serves its capital city Perth and surrounding areas. While its domestic flights are still the prevailing ones, international flights, particularly those from Malaysian and Indonesian markets, have dramatically increased after adding flights to Denpasar, Bali, which offers convenient connections onwards.

PER Airport is located south of Guildford, near Perth. From Perth center it is 12 km to the domestic terminals, or 17 km to the international terminal. Major arteries leading to the Airport (a) to domestic terminals via the Great Eastern Hwy & Bearley Ave.; (b) to both domestic & international terminals: from Tonkin Hwy via Horrie Miller Drive, taking a left to Dunrath Drive to domestic terminals and straight on to international terminal. 
NOTE, however, that by 2015 the new access road 'Airport Drive' will lead into  the new consolidated precinct 'Airport Central' around Terminals 1 & 2 & provide direct acces to the carparks. .  It will connect to Tonkin/Leach Hwy. interchange, part of the Gatew WA project. 

With two runways and an estimated 13 million passengers annually, Perth Airport is served by domestic & international airlines offering direct and connecting flights to all points of the globe. 

Frequent Qantas Flyers: Quantas now offers  the next generation in check-in technology at Perth Airport for frequent flyers using microchips embedded in their cards.

Perth Airport has four passenger terminals - T1 through T4.

Current & Future Airport Developments:  Under the Redevelopment Plan  Terminals 1, 3 & 4 are currently undergoing changes up to 2015 - indicated at Terminal Details listed below 'Terminal Map'.   Completion of the new terminal has been delayed again - now until late 2015, or even behond.
