Getting Around PER Airport
PER Airport is divided into five terminals, with Terminal 1 (T1) and Terminal 2 (T2) located on the eastern side, and Terminal 3 (T3), Terminal 4 (T4), and a General Aviation terminal on the western side. T1 is primarily for international flights and has recently added a domestic pier. T2 serves regional flights, while T3 and T4 are used exclusively by Qantas for both domestic and international flights. The terminals are spread out, so it's important to know your terminal before arriving.
To move between these terminals efficiently:
- T1 and T2 are connected by a walkway, making it convenient to transfer between international and regional flights.
- T3 and T4, although on the opposite side of the airport, are adjacent to each other, simplifying transit for Qantas passengers switching between domestic and international flights.
- For longer distances, shuttle services are available, especially useful if you're carrying heavy luggage or traveling between the eastern and western terminal clusters.
Inside the terminals, you'll find clear signage to guide you to your gate, lounges, and other facilities. Each terminal is equipped with various lounges, with T1 housing four and T3 and T4 each offering two Qantas lounges. Familiarize yourself with your terminal's layout online before you arrive to facilitate a smoother visit.
