AGS Airport Overview
Augusta Regional Airport AGS at Bush Field is located on Highway 56 Spur (Doug Bernard Parkway), 4 miles south of I-520 East (Bobby Jones Expressway, Exit 10--then south on Highway 56 Spur). It is a small airport which had recently undergone extensive renovation. The nearby City of Augusta, Georgia, on the Savannah River, is located right on the Border of South Carolina. Bush Field was named after a WWII flight instructor killed in a mid-air collision at what was once a militarty training airfield. Augusta AGS airport is served by two airlines, Delta Connection and US Airways Express, providing service to Atlanta, Las Vegas, Chicago and Boston, with connections around the world.
The passenger terminal offers free Wi-Fi access, an ATM machine, FedEx and Mail drops, Lost & Found, a restaurant with catering service, free carts and Customer Service Ambassadors assisting passengers around the terminal. Short- and long-term parking (with free shuttle service) is available, with the first 40 minutes free. Daily parking at short-term lot is $9, at long-term lot $7. To get to town you can take a taxi or rent a car from one of the six rental car agencies at the airport.
