Augusta Regional Airport AGS at Bush Field serves the city of Augusta, State of Georgia, which is situated on the border with South Carolina. It is a small airport which had recently undergone extensive renovation.
The Airport is on Highway 56 Spur (Doug Bernard Parkway), 4 miles south of I-520 East (Bobby Jones Expressway). NOTE: The new General Perry Smith Parkway to be completed in Spring 2014, will lead to the southeast quadrant of the Airport.
With an estimated 542K passengers a year, Augusta Regional Airport is served by major airlines, providing service to Atlanta, Dallas, Washington Reagan, and Charlotte, and offering connections around the world.
The new passenger terminal at Augusta Regional Airport offers free baggage carts, free Wi-Fi access, an ATM machine, rental car counters, FedEx and mail drops, Lost & Found, a restaurant with catering service, an ATM machine, free carts and Customer Service Ambassadors assisting passengers around the terminal.
Present and future Airport developments: Completion of General Perry Smith Pkwy is scheduled for Spring 2014.
