Getting Around the Airport
Augusta Regional Bush Field Airport was first operating as a flight training school for the military personnel of the United States. Today, it has become a major travelling hub for the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA).
The AGS airport has operated on a mission of “Flying There, Flying Home” since the past 60 years, and it has offered its passengers the same and fulfilled its promise.
The airport carries out daily flights in and out of Augusta. It is being served by American and Delta Airlines.
Main Terminal
The terminal building structure at the AGS airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities.
It has one main entrance leading to the baggage claim carousels towards the left and airline ticketing counters towards the right. There are Restrooms, Restaurant and Bistro, ATM, and GA Lottery Machine.
Outside there is a Pet Relief Area on either end of the terminal, on both left and right of the main building.
A centralized TSA security checkpoint leads to the terminal gate areas. This houses the terminal gates along with a Smoking Area, Restaurant and Bistro, Gift Shop, ATM, and Restrooms at two locations.
Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options in the MHT airport. For dining there is a Restaurant and Bistro in the pre- and post-security area. For shopping there is a Gift Shop in the post-security terminal gate area.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
