Arriving from SAN>SFO at 8:40am to catch a flight SFO>NRT by 11:15 (about 2 hours). Is there an international baggage transfer counter at the domestic baggage arrival area?

  • Is it possible or not?

My flight is Vancouver from Frankfurt. Lufthansa 490, Frankfurt->Seattle and transfer Lufthansa 6661. it's Seattle->Vancouver. My question is I don't want use Lufthansa 6661. I want to traveling in Seattle and back to Vancouver by bus. So my question is so simple, can I take baggage in Seattle? Usually arrive in USA, re check-in and claim custom. So I think is it possible, but not sure, so ask about that.

Arriving at YYZ from Frankfurt on Air Canada and connecting to Cleveland on Air Canada flight. Do I need to pick up my baggage and re-check it?

Upon arrival you can head straight for US Departures. When there you will have to claim your bags to go through US Immigration preclearance. Claiming your bags will be part of this process. As far as I can tell, you will not have to go through Canadian Immigration.

  • Where and what to do with bags??

Flying into american at LAX at 900 AM, connecting to Air Tahiti airlines at 3:30 PM. Where can I go with bags before I check in to Air tahiti? Any air clubs before security?

There are no clubs outside security. There is a food court outside security in the International Terminal. The Air Tahiti Nui counter will open at about 12:30 or 1:00.

  • Flying from MSP to DFW with a 50 minute layover to connect Doha (DOH)
    May 10, 2015
I am flying from Minneapolis/St.Paul (MSP) to Dallas (DFW) to Terminal D (Gate D40) and have a connecting flying to Doha (DOH) by Qatar but have only 50 minutes layover. Do we need to go to check-in by Qatar counters again (understand the baggage will be taken care). How is the distance between D40 to Qatar airways counters (if needed) and to Qatar Airways gate (number not assigned yet)

Assuming you purchased both tickets together, American should be able to issue you both boarding passes. You should not have to go to the Qatar counter. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Your flight from MSP may not arrive at D40. Gates change daily. However, all gates are connected inside security by the SkyLInk Train. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time.

  • Baggage with One stop

If I go from St Louis to Ohara in Chicago & then on to Fargo, will my luggage automatically follow me or would I have to go to baggage claim at Ohara?

Assuming you purchased your tickets together, your checked baggage will be transferred for you - you will not have to claim it in Chicago. However, if you gate-check any carry on bags with the green tag (because both flights will be operated by small aircraft), you will have to claim those at the gate in Chicago.

Do I have to have my prescriptions pills in original bottles? Can I put them in a 1 week daily container unlabeled?

For domestic flights you can transport pills however you want. For international flights you should transport pills in labelled containers.

  • Moving my baggage myself
    Apr 27, 2015
I'm flying from Dublin (Ireland) to Brazil and I've heard I need to move my baggage myself from one carousel to another, is there someone who could confirm this information?

Where are you connecting? What airlines are you flying? Did you purchase your tickets together or separately? I can't answer your questions without that info.

  • Where to check in at LAX?
    Apr 26, 2015
I have a flight from VietNam to Portland (transit at LAX). At LAX After arriving at Tom Bradley terminal and clear custom, do I need to bring my baggage all the way to Terminal 6 to recheck my lugage and get boarding pass or I can do that right away at Tom Bradley terminal.

Were your tickets purchased together on one reservation or separately?

Yes They were purchased together on one resevation

Then they should be tagged through to Poland and you can follow the signs for connecting passengers at LAX after clearing customs and re-check your bags at the transfer desk. If they are not tagged through to Poland, then you will need to bring them to the check-in desk of your next airline.

  • 13 hour layover do I have to recheck bags if on same ticket and carrei
    Apr 21, 2015
Hello. I e been worried for a while now. When I initially booked my flights months ago I have a 13 hour layover in JFK. My itinerary look like this: HNL-LAX 1hiur change planes LAX-JFK JFK-MAD FOR JFK part of my itinerary it doesn't list it as a layover which for me confused. So I tweeted delta and they said I would have to recheck my bags for anything past 12 hours. When I called delta they said I should be fine up to 24 hours Last time I came in from Madrid to JFK I had a 16 hour layover. After going through customs I gave my bags to a delta rep there and it was in hold for 14 hours and arrived at my final destination So I'm confused. Which is it you think ?

If your arrival into JFK is the same day as your flight to MAD, then your bags should be transferred for you.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Wel, my flight leaving hawaii doesn't arrive to JFK till the next day but my flight from JFK - MAD leaves on the same day . Thanks again
