  • JFK transfer QatarAirways to AA
    Apr 7, 2013
Im arrving 3pm with Int flight QatarAir and continue with American Airlines to LAX 5pm. Both airlines are T8 (what I understand), will my luggage go automatically to LAX or will I have to clear and recheckin in JFK? if so is 2h enough time?

You will clear immigration and then re-check your bags at re-check if they were tagged through to LAX. If they aren't tagged through to LAX you'll have to take them upstairs to AA and check them. Then you go through security and to your gate. 2 hrs should be enough time.

  • Where to check in baggage for Condor air
    Apr 21, 2013
I'm departing from SEA-TAC South satellite on Condor Flugdienst (Seattle to Frankfurt). Is baggage checked in at main terminal or in South?

At SEA you check in your bags at the Main Terminal, then take the South Train Loop stopping at B & S gates. (therefore, add an extra 10-15 mins to your boarding schedule. Signs will direct you to the train.

    nice information.

  • will my baggage be checked through?
    Mar 28, 2013
I am travelling from portland , Maine to Detroit dtw and then on to Seoul, Korea icn. I was wondering if my bag will be checked all the way through or if I have to claim it in Detroit and re-check?

The airline is delta all the way if that helps***

On the way TO Korea it will be checked straight through in Portland and you won't have to touch it until you get to Seoul. On the way back, you have to claim it in US immigration when you first enter the country and then recheck.

    Thank you ZAP!

  • where to pick up luggage
    Mar 27, 2013
flying into LAS on United, where do i pick up my luggage and where can my party meet me? thanks

You will arrive at Satellite D of LAS via United and need to take the D tram to Terminal 3 (follow signs) where you will claim your bags. Meet your friend at the domestic baggage carousels 1 to 10.

  • How to get from Terminal C to Term A
    Mar 26, 2013
I am flying into PHL from Detroit on flightUS Airways 3226 and connecting to flight US Airways to Amsterdam and Sofia. How to get from terminal C to Terminal A ? Need to pick up my bags and recheck in,before moving to my connecting gate to AMS

At PHL, all terminals, except TF, are connected at post-security areas by moving walkways. Follow signs on arrival at TC to TA-West, which has gates A14-26. Your bags are being automatically transferred.

  • Is your luggage safe ? Drug Use
    Mar 23, 2013
I work at south west. I want to report this guy who is high at my job on Marajauna every day. We have a no drug policy at South West.. He is throwing luggage around and driving like a nut. On March 5th, he crashed into the side of a cargo plane. He is 21 and he is so ghetto. I caught him and his brother getting high in the airport. I am ready to quit. I wouldn't trust my luggage to South West.

Report him to HR and/or the police.

Yes zap is right , report to the HR.

Do us all a favor and report him. He not only causes damage to equipment and luggage, he could endanger others around him. If he is so blatant, it won't take much for him to get busted.

  • luggage collection

I am arriving Emirates CDG T2, where exactly do I collect my luggage from in this Terminal.

At CDG, the Terminal 2 complex consists of Terminals T2A through T2G. Separate & parallel Concourses L & M (referred to as 'Halls L & M') are between T2E/2F & T2G (east to West) and a shuttle runs between those two concourses and T2E. Each of the T2 terminals has it own baggage claim level. Note: Gare TGV, RER & B rail stations are between T2D/T2C & T2F/T2E

  • DL Baggage
    Mar 19, 2013
I fly into GSP on DL and each time I go to claim my bag the agent Ive seen before is always helping the attractive men and not the customers that look like they really need help. The one time my bag was missing she walked right pass me and helped a young man who already had his bag!! When she finally helped me, it was like it was now an effort. Save some time and be first in line at the desk!!

  • finding skycap service in arrival area
    Mar 14, 2013

Very few people use skycaps thusly there aren't many of them as it's not a very good way to make a living. Blame your fellow travelers, not Chicago.

well, ZAP, that's not my experience at other airports ---maybe I was just lucky in PHX and ATL. In both places, not only were there Skycaps, they were courteous and accomodating as well.

  • Brooch Bouquet
    Mar 14, 2013
We are creating a brooch bouquet (Made up of brooches) for a wedding in Italy. What's the best way to transport it? Can it be carried on board and thru security checkpoints?

I assume that if the bouquet fits inside a carry on and isn't made of long knives or explosives then it would be OK to bring through security.

  • Can I carry on garment bag for suit?
    Mar 11, 2013
I have a suit & cocktail dress for a wedding we're attending and don't want to crush them in our luggage. If I fold the vinyl garment bag in half, it would be 26" high and 22" wide. I'd like to hang them up once inside the plane. Am I allowed to carry this on since it's over the carry-on dimensions?

I've seen people do it, but since it's technically against policy it's up to the gate personnel and flight attendants whether you'll be allowed on with it or not. Whenever I have to travel with a suit I just neatly fold it in my carry on right before I leave for the airport and take it out as soon as I get to the hotel and have never had a problem with it getting wrinkled.

  • More Airlines
    Apr 8, 2013
This is a great airport. However, it needs a low cost carrier such as AirTran. AirTran was at this airport briefly. What happened? It is too expensive to use this airport with Delta and US Air (now American). Jet Blue or Air Tran would be a great addition and I am confident those planes would be filled. We all tire of the drive to Jax and Orlando.

AirTran was bought by Southwest. JetBlue is generally not interested in small airports.

I am totally agree with zap

I am visiting Tokyo and would like to leave one of my luggage at the airport for about 18 hours while I am in Tokyo. Is there a service in Terminal 1 where I can leave one bag for that time?

I suggest you e-mail to Narita Airport
