Northwest Florida Regional VPS Airport Overview

Northwest Florida Regional Airport VPS provides scheduled commercial passenger air service for the entire Northwest Florida region--from Panama City to Pensacola. It is also gateway to Florida's Emerald Coast with its beautiful beaches along a 24-mile stretch of sugar-white sands and sparkling emerald-green waters. Vacationers flock to the Emerald Coast to for its beaches, links of championship golf and undeniably fresh seafood.

VPS Airport is located near Fort Walton Beach and Valparaiso, in Okaloosa County, Florida, and is accessible from Interstate Hwy 10 (Exit 56 to Route 85 South). It is open daily from 4am until the last flight of the day.

With an estimated 900k passengers a year, Northwest Florida Regional Airport is served by major airlines offering direct and connecting flights to large US hubs, with connections worldwide.

The passenger terminal of Northwest Florida Regional Airport has recently completed its expansion project, with a new hold room and 2 more jet bridges, 204 seats and free WiFI & charging stations. The terminal also offers a variety of services and amenities, including food & drink, as well as retail concessions, gift shops, free WiFi access throughout the terminal, courtesy phones for hotels and other services; ATM machines; and the new USO Center 'Freedom Lounge' .
