Northwest Florida Regional Airport VPS provides scheduled commercial passenger air service for the entire Northwest Florida region--from Panama City to Pensacola. It is also gateway to Florida's Emerald Coast with its beautiful beaches along a 24-mile stretch of sugar-white sands and sparkling emerald-green waters. Vacationers flock to the Emerald Coast to for its beaches, links of championship golf and undeniably fresh seafood.
The Airport is located near Fort Walton Beach and Valparaiso, in Okaloosa County, Florida, and is accessible from Interstate Hwy 10 (Exit 56 to Route 85 South). It is open daily from 4am until the last flight of the day.

With  900,563 passengers in 2011 (a 22 percent increase over the previous year), Northwest Florida Regional Airport is served by major airlines offering direct and connecting flights to large US hubs, with connections worldwide. Vision Airlines, a new low-cost airline, now serves 15 US cities from VPS Airport.

Parking options at NW Florida Regional Airport include short- and long-term parking lots offering the first 10 minutes free; payment to be made when exiting (at the large toll booth). Cash, checks and major credit cards are accepted.
Disabled parking is available in short- and long-term parking lots.

Rental car counters are located in the baggage claim lobby, lower level of the passenger terminal.  The new rental car facility will now access rental car pick/drop off at the ready/return lot on the east side of the terminal, thereby decreasing walking distance and rental car pick up from the counters inside the terminal. To get from Northwest Florida Regional Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi, a shuttle or a bus: The Airport is served by over 50 ground transportation companies, transporting passengers to/from the Northwest Florida Panhandle area.
