The main terminal building at VPS Airport is modern and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities for travelers. Concourse A has 9 gates and Concourse B has 4 gates. The airport is relatively small, so navigating between gates and amenities is easy and convenient.
Getting Between Terminals
Since the airport only has one main terminal building, there is no need to worry about getting between terminals. However, if you need to transfer between Concourse A and Concourse B, there is a walkway connecting the two concourses that can be accessed after passing through security. The walkway is well-lit and easy to navigate, so you won't have any trouble finding your way.
Food, Shops & Services
Destin Airport is a small airport, but it still offers a variety of food and shopping options for travelers. If you're feeling hungry, you can grab a bite to eat at one of the airport's restaurants or cafes. Destin Airport (VPS) does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on-site, but there are several locations nearby where travelers can complete their Global Entry interview, including Pensacola International Airport and Mobile Regional Airport. To enroll in Global Entry, passengers must apply online and attend an in-person interview at an enrollment center.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Airport Lounge Locations
VPS offers a variety of lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flight. The airport has two major airline lounges, the Delta Sky Club and the United Club. The Delta Sky Club is located in the main terminal, near gate 3, and offers comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and drinks, and free Wi-Fi. The United Club is located in the same area, near gate 4, and offers similar amenities to Delta Sky Club.
In addition to the airline lounges, the airport also has a third-party lounge, the Escape Lounge. This lounge is located in the main terminal, near gate 5, and is open to all travelers for a fee. The Escape Lounge offers a variety of amenities, including complimentary food and drinks, comfortable seating, and free Wi-Fi.
Baggage Claim Areas
Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport has two baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal. Baggage claim area A serves Delta, American, and United Airlines, while baggage claim area B serves Allegiant and Southwest Airlines. Baggage carts are available in both areas for passenger use.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available for passenger use in both baggage claim areas at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport. Additionally, luggage carts can be found in the parking lot near the terminal entrance. The cost to rent a luggage cart is $5, which can be paid with cash or credit card.
