i am flying into EWR terminal B from manchester england(MAN), and need to be over to terminal C to get my next flight for Fort Lauderdale(FLL). i am a british citizen. i know i need to clear immigration, but unsure of the steps to take after that. do i collect luggage? where do i put it? how to i get it transferred over to the next flight(terminal C)? how do i get over to terminal C? do i have to go through security again(where they check your hand luggage)? how far away are the gates? i have 2 hours 20 mins from landing, to my next flight taking off. on the way home, i am travelling from orlando airport(MCO) into terminal C, and have exactly an hour to get across to terminal B to make my flight back home to manchester england (MAN). how do i do that? what are the steps i need to take to make my flight home? i am worried sick we wont make it, or that our luggage makes it. all help greatly appreciated. never flown indirect to florida before, always done direct. thanks x
i should add that both flights are with UNITED, both ways. thanks x
You will claim your bags, go through US Customs, then immediately re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. On the way back to Manchester both flights will be in Terminal C. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I am flying from the UK to Florida, connecting in JFK, could you please tell me the process when I arrive in JFK, both flights are with American Airlines on one ticket, will I have to collect luggage and recheck it in? Also how long does the process normally take on average. Thank you.
You will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. 2 hours is a reasonable time to allow for this process.
Flying into Atlanta today from Costa Rica then onto canada. was told to go through immigration but then TSA security again. i only have one hour. do we go to same TSA as others where currently there is 3-4 hours wait? will miss my connection. or is it another security line only for connections?
There is a separate security line for international connections, but that is still a very difficult connection
We have 1hr 10min connection time in Detroit on a flight coming in from Charlotte to an international flight to Amsterdam. Enough time??
Yes, all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Flying into Charlotte in 9/13 at 6:10pm. Scheduled to depart at 7:50 American Airlines. Will that be enough time to clear immigration and go back through security? No checked bags, carry on.
Where are you flying into Charlotte from? Where are you flying to?
Flying in from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Will depart Charlotte to Chicago, O'Hare.
If my flight leaves at 6:50 am, do I need to be there at 3:50 am???
Security doesn't open until 4.
Flying tomorrow morning out of Delta terminal 2 to Raleigh, how much time before my flight should I be at the airport?
2-3 hours is recommended.
Hi I am flying from Dubai Lebanese national reaching on 3rd Nov at 14.25.
Can you advise if possible to catch the 16:45 flight to Miami from terminal 2.

On two separate itineraries and the fact that you'll be entering on a visa, I'd really recommend more connection time.
