Im flying from London to Minneapolis (europeean) With a 1hour and 45 minutes layover. Is this enought time to make the Connection. Its booked as one ticket With a travel acency and is British Airways (american Airlines on the last flight)
That is barely enough time. You will arrive in Terminal 5, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the ATS Train to Terminal 3, go through security and to your departure gate.
Also, to confirm, you are connecting at ORD, correct?
I (US Citizen) have a Air Asia flight with my fiancee (Indonesian Citizen) from Denpasar, Bali to Sydney, Australia, We will have to collect our baggage and recheck it for our Jetstar flight to Honolulu, Hawaii.
Do we need to have a transit visa and clear customs and immigration and re-enter all the security checks. My fiancee has an Indonesian passport and I have a US passport.
Looking forward to your replies and thanks in advance!
You need to complete Electronic Travel Authorization online. Your Fiancee needs is eligible for Transit Without Visa if your layover is less than 8 hours. If it is longer than 8 hours or overnight, then he or she needs to apply for an Australian Transit Visa at the Australian Consulate.
Thank you very much! We were worried about the procedure and it's difficult to find information on the topic. The layover is 6 hours so the Electronic Travel Authorization online should be ok.
Great site for first timers like me. My Fiji Airways flight arrives in LA from Fiji at 1:20 p.m and my connecting United Airlines flight to Newark at 4:20 p.m the same day. They both on separate tickets. Will I have enough time please?
Yes, that should be enough time. Remember to take your bags with you to Terminal 7 to re-check, don't try to re-check at the re-check desk in the International Terminal, you won't be able to.
Traveling from Buenos Aires to LA with a layover in ATL on April the 3rd and just under 2 hours between flights after arriving at 6AM, I'm aware that I have to go through Customs and Immigration and wait times can be a pain. Should I be worried about missing my next flight while waiting for immigration processing?
You should have enough time. Especially with the early morning arrival. If you do miss your connection, Delta flies lots of flights from Atlanta to LA.
Thank you for the answer, that's a relief. I'm now trying to determine if 1 hour is enough for my flight back from LA through ATL. No need to fill paperwork or wait in lines but I do have to do some moving across the airport using the tram and it sounds a little tight considering the size of the place.
How can I find out what gate my flights will be arriving to and departing from? Do I have to wait until I actually check in to find that out? I'm not flying until June but would like to know how far the gates are from each other at each stop.
