  • WHAT CONCOURSE/GATE DOES HA FLT 454 ARRIVE AT HNL FROM FUK

It arrives in the main overseas terminal. All gates are common use so the exact gate can vary day-to-day.

  • 1 hr30 minutes connection time at terminal1 block c

My parents are flying from Mumbai to Charlotte, North Carolina via us airways. They have 1 hr 30 minutes stopover at Frankfurt for the next connection flight which is us airways again. My parents are aged 70 , will 1 hour 30 minutes sufficient for them to catch connecting flight at Frankfurt airport. Pl advise

US Airways arrives at Terminal 1, Concourse C. Your parents need to go through 'non-Schengen' (foreign) passport control and then board the Skyline train departing every 2-3 mins to satellite Concourse A, where all U.S. departures use the Z gates on the upper level of that Concourse. They have sufficient transfer time.

im flying from manila and stop over to yvr to denver.is there a desk of united airlines on international arrival in yvr just to get my boarding pass? and if there is.can you pls help me and tell me where is it? tnx a lot

United does not have a check-in desk on the secure side of the terminal. You will have to clear Canadian immigration, clear customs, and go upstairs to check-in with United.

so that means,i have to check in united airlines in level 2 and get my boarding pass, just like normal international departure?

Yes, like a normal Canadian transborder flight.

what if i arrive 3pm in yvr.is their any other rule or other options if i arrive in that particular time?my flight is this coming aug 7 and im just lil nervous coz im not familiar with the yvr.

  • minimum check-in time for international flights at Rome

I heard that the security lines can be very long at Rome Fiumicino airport. What is the minimum hours to check-in prior to departure time?

It depends on the airline - check your airline's website.

  • connecting flight from manila to vancouver to denver

im flying PAL.my flight is from manila to vancouver to denver. my concern is do i have to re check in my baggage for my final destination to denver?and im flying throug united airlines and in my iterinary i should go to terminal M. is it far from international arrival?

Vancouver Airport rules on flight connection from an International flight to the United States: If your flight originated outside of Canada or the U.S. and you need to connect to a US destination, you have two options depending on whether your airline automatically transfers your baggage or not: (a) if it does, and you have a boarding pass to your connecting flight, proceed via a connecting flights corridor (avoiding Canadian Customs), go through US Customs and your checked baggage will be automatically transferred (US Customs, at their discretion, can recall your baggage for manual inspection). (b) if the airline does not offer automatic transfer of your baggage, you have to pick it up from the carousel & follow first normal international arrivals procedures, then U.S. procedures. Vancouver Airport has no Terminal M, only an International & a Domestic Terminal. U.S. departures gates are E67-99.

Vancouver only has one terminal. The check-in for your United flight will be just upstairs from where you exit Canadian immigration after arriving from Manila. You can then re-check your bag with United, and you will then go through US Immigration and your arrival into Denver will be like a domestic flight. http://www.yvr.ca/Libraries/Maps/YVR_Map_Eng_Mar2013_3.sflb.ashx

  • Terminal 4: might need to transfer to T2
    Jun 7, 2013

The new Terminal 4 at JFK is a big improvement, BUT BEWARE! If flying Delta, many of the flights actually depart out of terminal 2, but you don't know that until you walk all the way to a gate in T4, only to find you need to take a shuttle bus to T2, which can add 25 minutes. We almost missed our flight!

  • I'm Clueless...

This is the first time I've flown internationally, and I'm completely clueless about how to check in, get a boarding pass, go through security with my passport, customs, etc. I'm flying from Nashville to Detroit to Amsterdam, then to Copenhagen on KLM. If someone with knowledge of those airports could give me a step-by-step, I would sleep much better tonight :)

You will get all your boarding passes in Nashville at the Delta check-in (or online from Delta). Your flight from Nashville to Detroit will be like any other domestic flight, you'll then just have to find your flight to Amsterdam, which will be in the same terminal. In Amsterdam you will cross from Non-Schengen to Schengen and go through immigration for the EU. You will then be on what is essentially a domestic flight to Copenhagen.

Thanks for the quick reply! Another question- will I need to go through security and show my passport each time I change flights? Also, when you say "go through immigration", what exactly does that mean? Sorry to be so dense...

No, you will only go through immigration and security again in Amsterdam. In immigration you wait in a line to see an immigration officer, hand them a form they give you on the plane along with your passport and they might ask you some questions. Then assuming all is well they wave you through and you go through a metal detector. You will then be in the "Schengen zone" of Europe and your flight from Amsterdam to Copenhagen will be like a domestic flight in the US as both the Netherlands and Denmark are in the Schengen zone. When you check in for your flights you will also need to provide your passport number (if you check in online or at a kiosk, or hand the agent your passport if you check in at a desk). The set-up in AMS is really simple, probably the simplest major airport in Europe to make a connection at.

    Thanks so much! Very helpful!

Flying from Portland, OR to JFK on Delta then JFK to Dublin on Aer Lingus. Which terminal will I arrive at and leave from at JFK?

You will arrive in Terminal 4 and depart from Terminal 5. You will have to exit security and take the Airtrain/Air Terminals Train between Terminals.

I've been flying to New Ark International Airport but I cant't use my Ipad because there is no wifi at the airport, I never thought that there is one till I read the post, to the perso who posted that there is a WIFI at EWR Aiport could you please tell me how to get the WIFI ....thanks

I fly out of Newark a lot and actually there is Wi-Fi offered through Boingo http://www.panynj.gov/airports/ewr-wifi-instructions.html but there is a fee. Here's a tip depending on which term you're flying out of at Newark you can get free Wi-Fi at McDonald's or by logging in next to a airline club such as United, American, U.S. Airways.

Thanks a lot I really appreciate your response

  • Passport validity US to Jamaica
    May 31, 2013

I am flying from Houston to Montego Bay, Jamaica June 20th-23rd. My passport expires in August. Some websites say passport must be valid 6 months after date of travel, and some do not mention validity. The airline (Delta) said you just need a return ticket home. Do I really need to get my passport renewed?

The airline is right - US is Jamaica's best customer -

  • Concourse Confusion

Am flying in to CLE from Orlando and catching connecting flight to Erie. How long does it take to go between concourse C & D? Or does United use same concourse for ARR & DEP fligths? Have 50minutes between connections. Thank you

You'll have plenty of time. The United operation at CLE is very compact.
