Bradley Airport, the 2d largest airport in New England, with a new terminal, is served by a host of major and minor airlines with daily nonstop and connecting flights, as well as by seasonal charter flights. Regional airports offer shorter flights to destinations in the Northeast and Canada. 65.4 miles from Bradley Airport is T.F. Green Airport served by many major airlines and some regional jet services and charters, with destinations around the US and the Bahamas.

1. Bradley International Airport BDL can be reached by taking Exit 40, right off of Rt. 91 North or South. The Airport is located in the town of Windsor Locks, Connecticut, and is 12 miles north of the city Hartford, CT, and 12 miles south of Springfield, MA. BDL offers a convenient alternative to big-city airports, with a central location and a new terminal. Because of its inland location, Bradley Airport is often open for business when the other airports on the eastern seaboard are closed due to inclement weather. Bradley International is actually the second-largest airport in New England, serving over 6 million passengers a year. It also lands you right in the heart of New England, famous for its spectacular scenery, with vacation destinations galore and accommodations and attractions for every budget and taste. Many major and minor airlines serve Bradley International with direct and connecting flights to destinations around the world, as well as Charter flights to Mexico and the Caribbeans. For shorter flights, connecting points in the Northeast U.S. and Canada, refer to BDL's regional airlines. Bradley's Airport facility offers: a large passenger terminal, divided into Terminals A & B and Concourse E; a secure 3,500-space parking garage with two covered walkways to the terminal, ample on-airport economy parking, a full-service Sheraton Hotel right in the terminal, and a multitude of non-stop destinations. Recently it finished the reconstruction of its runway and added a full-service restaurant, The Black Saloon, to its Terminal A.

2. T.F. Green State Airport PVD --65.4 miles from Bradley Airport-- T.F. Green Airport PVD is located near Interstate Hwy I-95 in the town of Warwick, Rhode Island, which is 10 minutes from Providence, the State's capital, and within driving distance of Boston, Cape Cod and Newport. Providence airport is served by many major airlines and several regional jet services and vacation charters, with muliple destinations in the U.S. and seasonal service to the Bahamas. Adding to TF Green airport's convenience is the bright and modern Bruce Sundlun Terminal Building, which was opened in 1995. The terminal has two levels - ticketing and all gates and concessions are on the upper level and baggage claim and rental cars are on the lower level. Transportation between Green Airport and downtown Providence: Peter Pan Bus Lines; RIPTA Bus (Kennedy Plaza and Providence train station); Airport Limousine; Airport Taxi. Kennedy Plaza offers connections to Greyhound Bus, Peter Pan, Bonanza Bus and other RIPTA routes throughout Rhode Island. The Providence train station offers connections to Amtrak and MBTA Commuter Rail. Once you are at Kennedy Plaza or Providence Station you can get to: Boston - MBTA Commuter Rail, Amtrak, Peter Pan Bus, or Greyhound; Cape Cod - Peter Pan Bus; New London, CT - Amtrak, Greyhound Bus; New Haven, CT - Amtrak, Peter Pan Bus, Greyhound Bus; Worcester, MA - Peter Pan Bus. Ongoing Construction on the Intermodal Facility is scheduled for completion by late 2010.
