CONNECTING FLIGHTSNov 18, 201112In case one misses the connecting flight, the airline re-books one to the next available direct flight which might be many hours later or can there be a possibility of a re-booking to a non direct fight, but ultimately that would help the passenger the destination a lot earlier? thanxMKposted on Thu, Aug 18[ Reply ]2 people like this post [ Like ]When working with connecting flights, does one have to check-in at the second airport or does he already have his boarding pass? Also, when first checking-in and a connection is needed , must one look for his luggage or will it end up at the final destination?Billposted on Fri, Nov 18

Int'l Arrival/Domestic TransferJul 31, 201111I have a friend arriving from Japan that has not been through IAH before, so I am trying to advise them of the proceedure. My question is this: After Immigration and customs and baggage re-check, are they required to go through security again and where (ie, right after baggage recheck like at DFW or after they transfer to the terminal for their domestic connecting flight)jnscott8posted on Sat, Jul 301 person likes this post [ Like ]The International Arrivals building is attached to Terminal E. IAH can be accessed from both Terminal E and Terminal C, with separate US Customs.Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby and the Exits. This area also has an escalator down to train, Terminals A, B & C and the tunnel to Terminal D, the International Arrivals Lobby & Passenger Greeting Area, and currency exchange service and Information deskHH39posted on Sun, Jul 31

stretching out on a long lay overJul 29, 201111Is there a designated area where travelers can stretch or do yoga type exercises during a long lay over? I have serious back and leg issues and benefit greatly if I can stretch out in between long flights. Thank you.dgkcposted on Fri, Jul 291 person likes this post [ Like ]

boarding pass confusionJul 20, 201102Getting a boarding pass on Easy Jet's website is mysterious. look at southwest's website. You just click, put in your number, receive the boarding pass and print. They do it 24 hours before and it is very easy. I still havent figured this outJudyposted on Wed, Jul 202 people like this post [ Like ]
