  • CONNECTING FLIGHTS

In case one misses the connecting flight, the airline re-books one to the next available direct flight which might be many hours later or can there be a possibility of a re-booking to a non direct fight, but ultimately that would help the passenger the destination a lot earlier? thanx

When working with connecting flights, does one have to check-in at the second airport or does he already have his boarding pass? Also, when first checking-in and a connection is needed , must one look for his luggage or will it end up at the final destination?

Traveling with my small dog in a few weeks from Florida to New York on JetBlue. Just wanted to note that the cost is actually $100 each way for a pet that will be in the cabin with you.

traveling w/a cat during the holiday season from NY(LGA) to Florida(JAX). Delta is charging me 125 per trip (250.00)for my cat to travel on board w/me. According to ifly.com Delta charges only 50.00. How can I found out the correct price?

  • Int'l Arrival/Domestic Transfer

I have a friend arriving from Japan that has not been through IAH before, so I am trying to advise them of the proceedure. My question is this: After Immigration and customs and baggage re-check, are they required to go through security again and where (ie, right after baggage recheck like at DFW or after they transfer to the terminal for their domestic connecting flight)

The International Arrivals building is attached to Terminal E. IAH can be accessed from both Terminal E and Terminal C, with separate US Customs.Arriving passengers go through customs & take the escalator down to Baggage Claim Level 1. From there they go through Exit Control and enter to the right the baggage recheck area, and straight out arrive at the International Arrivals Lobby and the Exits. This area also has an escalator down to train, Terminals A, B & C and the tunnel to Terminal D, the International Arrivals Lobby & Passenger Greeting Area, and currency exchange service and Information desk

  • stretching out on a long lay over

Is there a designated area where travelers can stretch or do yoga type exercises during a long lay over? I have serious back and leg issues and benefit greatly if I can stretch out in between long flights. Thank you.

As you did not specify any particular airport, I suggest you go over to any lesser-used gate area and do your thing. Your well-being is more important than what some people might think!

I want to park nearest the International waiting area [by the Starbucks]. Is there a way to know where in that garage to park?

Getting a boarding pass on Easy Jet's website is mysterious. look at southwest's website. You just click, put in your number, receive the boarding pass and print. They do it 24 hours before and it is very easy. I still havent figured this out

I will arrive from Beijing (PEK) and then re-checking to Caracas, Venezuela. Does the custom anti-copy regulation affect me if I bring clothing and personal items from China, just for being in transit through the United States ? Please advise

can you bring a snack from home for the kids to eat while on the airplane?

Indeed you can, but don't carry liquids. Best to have them in separate see-through bag among your carry-on items.
