Is the 1hr 45m layover enough time to clear customs in Seattle? Both legs are on Delta. I also will have Global Entry.
With Global Entry you should be able to make this.
Do you know if one has to pick up luggage first if connecting flight is on the same airline?
Yes, you have to pick up your luggage to go through US Customs then immediately re-check it at the re-check desk before proceeding through security and to your departure gate.
flying from Slc to Houston to Amsterdam, where do I go through security check, I only have 1 hour layover in Amsterdam. will I make it?
You are going Salt Lake City-Houston-Amsterdam? You will go through security in Salt Lake City and Schengen Passport Control and Customs in Amsterdam. What is your layover in Amsterdam? Where are you flying after that? What airlines are you flying?
I'm flying United with a 1 hour layover in Amsterdam and connecting with Polish lot in Amsterdam.
Then if everything is on the same reservation in Amsterdam you just have to go through passport control and to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Has anyone had any problems with Lufthansa miles or?
Thanks in advance for any help here...we are flying Open Skies from NYC into Orly, landing 9:30 am. Then, on a separate ticket to be purchased, flying Orly-Marseille. No checked bags. How much time do we need to make a connection? Do we pass through any kind of customs? Looks like Open Sky lands Ouest terminal and AF departs out of Ouest as well? Could we make a 11:15 am flight? Thanks!
Yes, at ORY you will go through Passport control. With no checked bags you could maybe barely make the 11:15 flight if you check in online for your flight to Marseille before you leave New York.
Hi, I have a flight from Detroit to Anchorage with a 50 minute connection in SEA, all with Alaska airlines. Do you think this is enough time? Will I need to recheck my luggage?
Yes, that should be enough time. You don't have to do anything with your baggage. Just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I fly out of Newark on 4/1/16. I would like to know is baggage check and security check point in the same level. I'm flying first class. Is pre check for security in the same area?

Hello! I'm looking at a flight that comes in on United from Japan at 11:00 AM on a Saturday. I'm looking to catch a flight at 1:10PM on Southwest. Will I be able to make it if I dont have any checked bags? I know I have to clear customs when I arrive.
With no checked bags that's probably possible if you are already checked in for your southwest flight and everything goes perfectly. It's risky.
I am changing flights from 15:05 off of Virgin Atlantic, and getting on a Delta flight at 16:58. This was bought in one ticket with Virgin. How do I connect? Is it easily marked and will I have to pick up my checked bag? I was told I wasn't as it will be transferred for me to my end destination (LA).
Thanks,
You will arrive in Terminal 3, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate in concourse D via an underground train. You should have enough time.
Thanks, so will the train be quick? Is it after I've checked in my bags and after security?
Yes, it is after security. Yes, it is pretty quick.
going from Charles DeGaulle to Seattle, connecting to Honolulu on Delta. Have global entry and ktn # in profile so should get TSA pre for flight to HNL. When check in at CDG, will they give me boarding pass for the HNL leg showing TSA pre? That will help going thru security in SEA after clearing customs.
AFAIK, There is no precheck line at the special security checkpoint for transiting international passengers, so while it will be on your boarding pass, it won't help you.
