Getting Between Terminals
Since there is only one terminal building at the airport, there is no need to worry about getting between terminals. However, if you need to transfer to another flight, you may need to check with your airline to see if you need to change terminals or if your connecting flight is departing from a different gate. Food, Shops & Services

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
MOD Airport has one security checkpoint located at the entrance of the terminal building. All passengers are required to pass through this checkpoint before entering the boarding area. The security checkpoint is equipped with X-ray machines and metal detectors to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport at least two hours before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
The airport does not currently offer any fast track lanes for passengers. However, passengers with disabilities or special needs can request assistance from the airport staff to expedite their screening process. The airport staff is trained to provide assistance to passengers with mobility issues, visual or hearing impairments, or any other special needs.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
MOD does not have any international flights, and therefore, does not have any passport or immigration control locations. All flights departing from and arriving at the airport are domestic flights within the United States. However, passengers are still required to present a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport, at the security checkpoint before boarding their flight.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Modesto City County Airport offers both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints for passengers. The TSA Checkpoint is located at the main terminal entrance and is open daily from 4:30am until the last flight of the day. The TSA Pre Checkpoint is located to the right of the main TSA Checkpoint and is also open daily from 4:30am until the last flight of the day. TSA Pre allows eligible passengers to enjoy expedited screening, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.
Global Entry Locations
Modesto Airport does not have a Global Entry Enrollment Center on-site. However, there are several enrollment centers located within a reasonable driving distance from the airport. The closest enrollment center is located in Sacramento, which is approximately 80 miles away. Other nearby enrollment centers include San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To enroll in Global Entry, travelers must complete an online application and schedule an in-person interview at an enrollment center.

Airport Lounge Locations
Unfortunately, MOD Airport does not have any airline or airport lounges available for travelers. However, there are a few seating areas throughout the airport where passengers can wait comfortably before their flight.
Baggage Claim Areas
The airport has one baggage claim area located on the lower level of the terminal building. Passengers can easily locate the baggage claim area by following the signs posted throughout the airport. Once you arrive at the baggage claim area, you can collect your luggage from the conveyor belts. It is recommended that you check your luggage tags to ensure you are collecting the correct bags.
Luggage Cart Availability
Luggage carts are available for passengers to use free of charge at MOD. The carts are located in the baggage claim area and throughout the terminal building. If you require assistance with your luggage, airport staff are available to assist you with the luggage carts. Please note that luggage carts cannot be taken outside of the terminal building.
Luggage Storage Locations (Left Luggage)
Modesto City County Airport does not currently offer left luggage services. However, there are several luggage storage options available near the airport. Passengers can use luggage storage services provided by nearby hotels or luggage storage facilities located in the city. It is recommended that you research and book these services in advance to ensure availability.
