Air New Zealand Partnerships & Alliances
Air New Zealand is a member of the Star Alliance, having joined in 1999. This partnership allows Air New Zealand to offer its customers access to a global network of over 1,300 destinations in 195 countries, through its alliance partners.
As part of the Star Alliance, Air New Zealand has codeshare agreements with several airlines, including United Airlines, ANA, and Singapore Airlines. These agreements allow Air New Zealand to expand its reach and offer customers more flight options to destinations around the world.
In addition to its Star Alliance membership, Air New Zealand has several other notable partnerships. The airline has a joint venture with Virgin Australia, which allows the two airlines to coordinate schedules and pricing on trans-Tasman flights between Australia and New Zealand. Air New Zealand also has a codeshare agreement with Cathay Pacific, which allows customers to connect seamlessly between the two airlines on flights between New Zealand and Hong Kong.
