Cathay Pacific Airways is a member of the oneworld Alliance, having joined in 2007. As a member of the alliance, Cathay Pacific Airways has access to a global network of airlines, allowing for seamless travel and connections for its passengers.
In addition to its alliance membership, Cathay Pacific Airways has established codeshare agreements with several other airlines. These agreements allow for passengers to book flights on multiple airlines with a single ticket, making travel more convenient. Cathay Pacific Airways has codeshare agreements with airlines such as American Airlines, British Airways, and Qantas.
Cathay Pacific Airways also has several notable partnerships with other airlines and corporations. One such partnership is with Air Canada, where the two airlines have established a joint venture for flights between Hong Kong and Canada. Cathay Pacific Airways has also partnered with Alaska Airlines, allowing for frequent flyer benefits and codeshare agreements on select flights.
Outside of the airline industry, Cathay Pacific Airways has partnerships with several other corporations. This includes a partnership with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, where members of the airline's frequent flyer program can earn and redeem miles for hotel stays. Cathay Pacific Airways also has a partnership with BMW, where the airline uses BMW vehicles for ground transportation services.
