Etihad Airways Partnerships & Alliances
Etihad Airways is currently not part of any major airline alliance. However, the airline has established codeshare agreements with several airlines worldwide, including Air France, KLM, American Airlines, and Virgin Australia. These agreements allow Etihad Airways to expand its network and provide its passengers with more flight options to various destinations.
In addition to codeshare agreements, Etihad Airways has formed several notable partnerships. The airline has a joint venture with Air Arabia, called Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, which operates low-cost flights from Abu Dhabi to various destinations in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Etihad Airways also has a strategic partnership with Gulf Air, which includes codeshare agreements, reciprocal frequent flyer benefits, and coordination on scheduling and capacity between the two airlines.
Furthermore, Etihad Airways has partnerships with various corporations and organizations, including the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and the Manchester City Football Club. These partnerships aim to promote tourism and cultural exchange, as well as to enhance the airline's brand image and customer experience.
