Silver Airways is a regional airline based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, that operates flights within the United States and the Bahamas. The airline has a fleet of 29 aircraft, all of which are manufactured by ATR.
The airline's fleet consists of 21 ATR 42-600 and 8 ATR 72-600 aircraft. The ATR 42-600 can accommodate up to 46 passengers, while the ATR 72-600 can carry up to 70 passengers. Both aircraft are known for their fuel efficiency and reliability, making them ideal for regional flights.
Silver Airways made a significant deal with ATR to purchase up to 50 new aircraft, including a mix of ATR 42-600 and ATR 72-600 planes. This deal will allow the airline to expand its operations and replace its older aircraft with newer, more fuel-efficient models.
