Silver Airways Pet Policy
Silver Airways welcomes pets to travel with their owners in the cabin of the aircraft. Domestic cats, dogs, and household birds are allowed to fly in the cabin, as long as they meet certain requirements. Pets must be harmless, inoffensive, odorless, and require no attention during transit.
Each passenger is allowed to bring only one pet in a carrier, except for cases where there are two kittens or two puppies under 10 weeks of age, or two household birds traveling together in one container.
When traveling with a pet on Silver Airways, there are fees associated with this service. The fees depend on the destination you are traveling to. For travel to Florida, the fee is $24.98, and for travel to the Bahamas, the fee is $29.98.
Pet carriers traveling in the cabin should not exceed the dimensions of 17” L x 16” W x 9” H (43 cm x 40 cm x 22 cm). They should be leak-proof, structurally sound, and free from any broken wires or protrusions. The carriers should also be properly ventilated, allowing pets to stand, sit, and change positions comfortably inside.
It is important to note that Silver Airways does not allow pets to travel as checked baggage. Pets are only permitted in the cabin with their owners.
If you plan to travel with a pet on Silver Airways, it is recommended to contact the Reservations Team at 801-401-9100 to guarantee a spot for your pet as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. The maximum number of animal containers per aircraft is 10.
Keep in mind that air carriers can change these policies at any time, so you should always check directly with the airline you are traveling on, before you book, for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
