Thai Airways Partnerships & Alliances
Thai Airways is a member of the Star Alliance, having joined the alliance in 1997. As part of this partnership, Thai Airways has access to a global network of 26 airlines, serving over 1,300 destinations in 195 countries.
Thai Airways has several major codeshare agreements with other air carriers, including Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, and United Airlines. These agreements allow Thai Airways to offer its customers access to a wider range of destinations, as well as more convenient flight schedules.
In addition to its membership in the Star Alliance and codeshare agreements, Thai Airways has several other notable partnerships. The airline has a joint venture with Singapore Airlines, known as the Thai-Singapore Airlines (TSA) joint venture. This partnership allows the two airlines to coordinate their schedules and offer more seamless connections between their respective networks.
Thai Airways also has a special partnership with Thai Smile Airways, a regional subsidiary of the airline. This partnership allows Thai Airways customers to connect to Thai Smile Airways flights, which serve a number of domestic and regional destinations.
