Vietjet Aviation: Aircraft Fleet
Vietjet Aviation is a low-cost airline based in Vietnam that operates both domestic and international flights. The airline has a fleet of 80 aircraft, consisting of Airbus A320 and A321neo models.
The Airbus A320 is a narrow-body aircraft that can carry up to 186 passengers. Vietjet Aviation has 45 A320s in its fleet, making it the most commonly used aircraft type for the airline. The A321neo, on the other hand, is a larger version of the A320 and can carry up to 240 passengers. Vietjet Aviation has 35 A321neos in its fleet.
In addition to its current fleet, Vietjet Aviation has made significant deals to expand its aircraft fleet in the coming years. The airline signed a deal with Airbus to purchase an additional 20 A321XLR aircraft, which are expected to be delivered by 2023. The A321XLR is a long-range version of the A321neo and will allow Vietjet Aviation to expand its international routes.
