The Airbus A321neo is a stretched version of the A320 and can carry up to 239 passengers. Wizz Air has 72 A321neos in its fleet, making it the second most commonly used aircraft by the airline.
Wizz Air has made significant deals regarding its aircraft fleet. In June 2019, the airline signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus for the purchase of 20 Airbus A321XLR aircraft. The A321XLR is a long-range version of the A321neo and will allow Wizz Air to expand its route network to destinations further away.
