Getting Around CHA Airport
CHA Airport features a single concourse layout, which simplifies navigation for passengers. The concourse is equipped with eight gates, recently expanded by two additional gates. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
The airport has two security checkpoints located on the upper level of the terminal building. The first checkpoint is located near the entrance to Concourse A, while the second checkpoint is located near the entrance to Concourse B. Both checkpoints are equipped with standard security measures, including X-ray machines and metal detectors, to ensure the safety of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
CHA offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite their security screening process. The Fast Track program allows passengers to use a dedicated lane that is separate from the standard security lanes. This program is available for a fee and can be purchased online or at the airport. The Fast Track lane is located at the first security checkpoint near the entrance to Concourse A.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport does not have international flights, so there are no passport or immigration control locations within the airport. However, passengers traveling to international destinations will go through passport and immigration control at their final destination airport.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
Chattanooga Airport has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints located at the main terminal. These checkpoints are designed to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows eligible passengers to expedite the security screening process by providing a dedicated lane and allowing them to keep on their shoes, belts, and light jackets. To apply for TSA Pre Check, passengers must complete an online application and schedule an appointment for an in-person interview.

Global Entry Locations
CHA Airport does not currently have Global Entry locations. However, there are several locations nearby, including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Nashville International Airport. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers entering the United States. To apply for Global Entry, passengers must complete an online application and schedule an appointment for an in-person interview at a Global Entry Enrollment Center.

Baggage Claim Areas
CHA has two baggage claim areas located in the lower level of the terminal. Baggage claim area A is for flights arriving from Delta and American Airlines, while baggage claim area B is for flights arriving from Allegiant and United Airlines. The airport provides baggage carts for passengers to use free of charge in the baggage claim areas.
