Getting Around SJD Airport

At SJD Airport, you have two main terminals to navigate: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 is a single-story building primarily handling domestic flights. It's straightforward to move around with all facilities on one level. You'll find the check-in area, security checkpoint, and a concourse with 8 gates directly accessible from the ground level. If you're looking for a bit more comfort, there's a VIP lounge on the mezzanine level above the departures concourse.

Terminal 2 operates on two levels. The ground floor is where you'll arrive and go through customs and immigration, pick up your baggage, and find car rentals and taxis. When it's time to depart, you'll head to the upper floor. This floor houses the check-in areas and security checks leading to a long concourse with 19 gates. If you're flying from one of the nine gates equipped with jet bridges, you'll appreciate the easy access to your aircraft. For a last-minute bite or shopping, there are several restaurants and duty-free shops along the concourse. Also, there's a VIP lounge near Gate 8, perfect for relaxing before your flight.
