Traveling with your furry friend can often be stressful, but with Aegean Airlines, it's a smooth experience. If you're planning to book a flight with Aegean, you must first notify the Aegean Reservations Department. This is a compulsory step, irrespective of whether you make the booking online or not. They can be contacted at (833) 732-8158 for more detailed information. A prerequisite for pet travel includes presenting your pet's health book for a routine check-up at check-in. Moreover, your pet must be tagged with the mandatory ID microchip. International flyers, kindly note that a pet passport is a must. However, please be informed that pets are not permitted on flights to/from Düsseldorf and to London Gatwick Airport.
Aegean Airlines welcomes cats and dogs in the cabin, given the combined weight of the pet and carrier is below 17 lbs (8 kg). Each passenger is allowed to travel with one pet. For the duration of the flight, pets must be securely placed beneath the seat in front of you. The fee for pets traveling in the cabin is 30 EUR on domestic flights and 60 EUR on international flights.
If your pets do not meet the cabin travel restrictions, Aegean offers an alternative option of transporting them in the hold. The combined weight of pets and carriers should be less than 70 lbs (32 kg) to avail this service. The charges for medium pets, weighing between 17 - 55 lbs (8 - 25 kg) with carrier, is 50 EUR direct and 55 EUR connecting on domestic flights, and 110 EUR direct and 120 EUR connecting on international flights. For larger pets over 55 lbs (25 kg) with carrier, the charge is 90 EUR direct and 95 EUR connecting on domestic flights, and 180 EUR direct and 190 EUR connecting on international flights.

Dimensions for the carriers differ based on the size of the pet. For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not be larger than 21" x 15" x 8" (55 cm x 40 cm x 20 cm). If you do not have your own carrier, the Aegean representative at your chosen airport will provide you with an appropriate one. For pets traveling in the hold that are 8 lbs (4 kg) and under, the carrier should not exceed 23" x 17" x 15" (60 cm x 45 cm x 40 cm); animals that are 13 lbs (6 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 31" x 21" x 21" (80 cm x 55 cm x 55 cm); 28 lbs (13 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 39" x 25" x 27" (100 cm x 65 cm x 70 cm); and 48 lbs (22 kg) and under, the dimensions should not exceed 50" x 30" x 33" (125 cm x 75 cm x 85 cm).
