Emirates: Aircraft Fleet

Emirates is one of the largest airlines in the world, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The airline operates a modern fleet of aircraft, consisting of Airbus and Boeing models. Emirates has a total of 259 aircraft in its fleet.

The Airbus A380 is the flagship aircraft of Emirates, with a total of 118 in service. The A380 is the largest passenger aircraft in the world and is used on long-haul routes to major destinations such as London, New York, and Sydney. Emirates also operates the Airbus A350, with 12 currently in service and more on order.

Emirates also has a large fleet of Boeing aircraft, with 151 in service. This includes the Boeing 777, with 139 in service, and the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, with 12 in service and more on order. The Boeing 777 is used on both short and long-haul routes, while the 787 Dreamliner is used on medium to long-haul routes.

In addition to its current fleet, Emirates has made significant deals for new aircraft. The airline signed a deal with Airbus for 50 A350-900 aircraft, worth $16 billion at list prices. The first A350-900 was delivered to Emirates in 2020. Emirates has also ordered 30 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, with deliveries expected to begin in 2023.
