Scoot: Aircraft Fleet

Scoot is a low-cost airline based in Singapore that operates a fleet of modern and fuel-efficient aircraft. The airline has a total of 49 aircraft in its fleet, which consists of two types of planes: Airbus A320 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.

The Airbus A320 is a narrow-body aircraft that can carry up to 180 passengers. Scoot has a total of 27 A320 planes in its fleet, which are used for short and medium-haul flights to destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a wide-body aircraft that can carry up to 375 passengers. Scoot has a total of 22 Dreamliners in its fleet, which are used for long-haul flights to destinations in Europe, the United States, and Africa. The Dreamliner is known for its fuel efficiency and passenger comfort, with features such as larger windows, higher cabin pressure, and lower noise levels.

In addition to its own fleet, Scoot has also made significant deals to expand its aircraft capacity. In 2018, the airline signed a letter of intent with Airbus to purchase 39 new A320neo planes, which are more fuel-efficient and have a longer range than the A320. The first A320neo is expected to be delivered in 2024.
