Silver Airways History
Silver Airways, founded in 2011, is a regional airline based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Although relatively new, the airline has quickly established itself as a reliable and convenient option for travelers in the United States.
The airline began operations with a fleet of Saab 340 turboprop aircraft, which allowed it to serve smaller airports and communities that are not typically served by larger airlines. This focus on regional connectivity has been a key factor in Silver Airways' success.
Over the years, Silver Airways has expanded its route network and upgraded its fleet. Today, the airline operates a fleet of ATR 42 and ATR 72 aircraft, which offer increased capacity and improved passenger comfort. With these larger aircraft, Silver Airways is able to serve more destinations and accommodate a greater number of passengers.
Silver Airways has also formed partnerships with other airlines, allowing it to offer its passengers a wider range of travel options. Through codeshare agreements and interline partnerships, passengers can seamlessly connect to other destinations around the world.
As a regional airline, Silver Airways places a strong emphasis on customer service and convenience. The airline offers a variety of amenities to enhance the travel experience, including complimentary snacks and beverages, free checked baggage, and a generous frequent flyer program.
