Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

Buffalo Airport has security checkpoints located in each of its two terminals. Terminal A has two security checkpoints, one located near the entrance and the other near the end of the terminal. Terminal B has one security checkpoint located near the entrance.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

BUF Airport offers a TSA PreCheck lane for expedited security screening. The TSA PreCheck lane is available at all security checkpoints in both Terminal A and Terminal B. Additionally, there is a CLEAR lane located at the security checkpoint in Terminal A for members of the CLEAR program.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

The airport has a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) facility located in Terminal B for international arrivals. The CBP facility includes passport and immigration control locations. Domestic arrivals do not need to go through passport and immigration control.

TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints

BUF has TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for eligible passengers, which means they can keep their shoes, belts, and light jackets on, and their laptops and liquids in their bags. To be eligible for TSA Pre Check, passengers must apply and be approved for the program.

Global Entry Locations

Buffalo Niagara Airport is one of the Global Entry Locations in the United States. Global Entry is a program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. To be eligible for Global Entry, passengers must apply and be approved for the program. Baggage Claim Areas

BUF Airport has three baggage claim areas located on the lower level of the terminal. Baggage claim area A is for Delta, Southwest, and United Airlines. Baggage claim area B is for American Airlines and JetBlue Airways. Baggage claim area C is for all other airlines. Each baggage claim area has monitors displaying flight information and baggage carousel numbers. If you need assistance with your baggage, there are baggage service offices located in each baggage claim area.
