Airport Maps & Terminal Guide
Getting Around the Airport
The terminal building structure at Edinburgh Airport has one main terminal which is split into the pre-security and post-security areas. There are centralized check-in desks in the post-security area, with a security checkpoint leading up to the 29 EDI airport terminal gates.
To see the terminal location, and for more information, please refer to the EDI Terminal Map here.
Main Terminal
The main terminal is split into two areas:
The pre-security or Arrivals area consists of check-in desks at the center, and has three departure doors: International Arrivals 2 and Domestic Arrivals lies towards the right of the terminal building whereas International Arrivals 1 lies to the left. Near the entrance, there is a reception for special assistance and luggage weight machines. First aid posts, ATMs, and multi-faith quiet rooms can be found near the check-in desks. Near International Arrivals 2 there are baby changing room facilities. Other services include ICE currency exchange, men/women restrooms, and elevators/escalators. Baggage claim counters 2 and 4 for Easyjet and Menzies, respectively, are located near the entrance, while baggage claim counters 12, 13, 14, and 15 for Jet, Delta, Turkish, and Swissport, respectively, are located near International Arrivals 2.
The post-security or Departures area houses the 29 terminal gates, with Gate 1-11 towards the left, and Gate 12-29 towards the right. Services include ATM, accessible/male/female toilets, baby changing facilities, and play area for children.
