Lost and Found Baggage: The Lost and Found Office (link) is available to assist you in finding objects you might have lost or misplaced at the airport only. All lost and found merchandise is only kept upto 3 months, after which it is auctioned off for a good cause.The Lost and Found office is open from 09:30 to 18:00 hours Monday through Friday. On Saturdays the office is open from 09:30 to 13:30 hours only 

The office will remain closed on 2nd Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays

Location - Terminal 2 PROCEDURE FOR CLAIMING LOST ITEMS The Item may be claimed by the Owner and should be in possession of the following documents:- Copy of Boarding Card/ proof of journey Copy of Passport/ ID card issued by any Government Unit Details of the items being claimed. Or The authorized person should carry the following documents. Letter of "authorization letter" to be filled and signed by owner. The owner should also mentioned details of the items being claimed. Copy of Boarding card Owner’s Government authorized photo id preferably Passport / Driving License / Aadhaar Card / Voter card Photo -I card of the person who is authorized to collect the Item. The Authorization may be on name of individual, Courier Service provider or Airlines. Lost and found items deposited at T3 , T-1 and T-2 ( LP section may be claimed from respective terminal itself within 05 days from the date/time of deposit in that section. If any Lost and found item is required to be collected after working hours (i.e 1730 hrs), please fix appointment 24hrs in advance at [email protected] Perishable, eatable, flammable & DGR goods are not accepted in lost & found. Any such item if found will be disposed off within 12hours”. NOTE:- The article must be collected within 90 (ninety) days from the date of deposit. On expiry of 90 days, it is disposed off as per company policy. Thereafter, the lost property department shall cease to entertain any claims on the article thereon. The address of the Lost Property Department is as under:- Terminal 2,

On Sunday, 2nd Saturday and Holidays it remains closed. DEFINITION OF LOST PROPERTY LOST PROPERTY MEANS ANY PROPERTY WHICH WHILE NOT IN PROPER CUSTODY, IS FOUND ON ANY PREMISES OF AIRPORT. NOTE:- FOR ANY CHECKED IN BAGGAGE/MISHANDLED BAGGAGE OR ITEMS LEFT IN CUSTOM ARRIVAL AREA THE CONCERNED AIRLINE SHOULD BE CONTACTED.

Pets

Pets are not allowed at the airport unless they are working dogs or are in a safe kennel. Contact your airline as to their requirements. For traveling with your pet out of the country: contact the embassy of the country of your destination as to shots and required documentation.

Smoking

IGI Airport is a non -smoking facility, however, there is a smoking lounge inside the Security Hold Area and smoking is also allowed in business lounges.
