The passenger terminal complex at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport consists of two joined Terminals under one roof, housing on both arrivals & departures levels the International Terminal to the right and Domestic Terminal to the left - with mostly shared amenities & services in their public areas. Free WiFi is available throughout the terminal complex.
NOTE: Food & drink inside the terminals is very expensive.
New Domestic terminal (DT) houses an indoor area of about 200,000 sq.meters and connects to the International Terminal. DT houses 64 check-in counters, 30 escalators, 40 elevators & long travelators, and is baggage handling system is able to process 5,000 bags per hour. The inviting building offers indoor gardens & pools, with open spaces and views of aircrafts & apron.
The Arrivals level houses Passport control, baggage reclaim, rental car counters, & banking facility.
The Departures level houses food & drink, & retail concessions.
Domestic Departures gates: on level 1 is access to bus gates 101/104; on level 2 eight boarding bridges lead to gates 230 - 226.
NOTE: The new Domestic terminal is undergoing extension work to increase the number of aircraft; reducing time for travel, access & waiting.
The International Terminal:
The Arrivals level houses the baggage claim area, passport control,Customs, rental car counter, information desk, Lost & Found, Domestic Lines & Train Station Connection, ATM cash machines & currency exchange, left baggage and lost baggage, and tourist information.
The Departures level houses check-in counters, information desk, ATM cash machines & currency exchange, passport control, customs, security check, ticket sales, Masjid, a conference hall, baggage wrap, smoking lounge, food & drink & shops & duty-free.
International Departures gates: on level 1 access to bus gates 111/114 , on level 2 gates 231 - 234.
Airport & Airline Lounges: (Note that the Comfort Lounges are also accessible to paying passengers.)
The International Terminal houses two lounges:
- The Millennium Lounge in the departures area, mezzanine level, post-security - intended for first- and business-class passengers of affiliated airlines and holders of IS Bank credit cards; and
- The Comfort Lounge at post-security, open 24 hrs. Access: Priority Pass.
- The Comfort Lounge - at mezzanine level, post-security - available for TAV Passport Card holders and also serves as pay-in lounge to all passengers.

- The Turkish Airlines CIP Lounge for Classic Plus, Business Class, Elite & Elite Plus cardholders.
