Terminal 2 Info & Layout

Terminal 2, known as the Queen's Terminal, at London Heathrow Airport is the newest terminal, having opened on 4 June 2014. It primarily handles flights from northern and western Europe and is predominantly used by Star Alliance airlines, consolidating their operations under the "Move Under One Roof" policy. Terminal 2 also accommodates some SkyTeam members, such as China Airlines, and several non-aligned airlines. It is one of the two terminals at Heathrow that operates UK and Irish domestic flights.

The terminal features 24 gates and was designed by Spanish architect Luis Vidal. It includes a satellite pier (T2B), a 1,340-space car park, and a cooling station for chilled water. Travelers can enjoy a variety of amenities with 52 shops and 17 bars and restaurants available within the terminal.

Access to Terminal 2 is facilitated by pedestrian walkways, and it is connected to other terminals via the Heathrow Cargo Tunnel. Noteworthy for its modern design and efficient passenger flow, Terminal 2 provides a seamless travel experience for passengers, with its strategic layout and comprehensive services.
