Getting Around AZA Airport
AZA Airport features a single terminal with 11 gates, making it relatively straightforward to navigate. Upon entering the terminal, you'll find check-in counters and security screening areas. After passing through security, the gates are conveniently located in a single concourse, reducing the need for extensive walking or transferring between multiple terminals.
For dining options, the terminal offers several eateries including Infusion Coffee and Tea Crafters, Macayo's Mexican Food, Panera Bread, and O.H.S.O. Brewery. For quick snacks and grab-and-go items, you can visit Saguaro Mercantile and Trip Advisor. Shopping is also available with First Jet Market at gate 2, Trip Advisor near gate 5, Saguaro Mercantile near gate 7, and Queen Creek Olive Mill in the baggage claim area.
Additional amenities include a Pet Park located in the west courtyard of the South Concourse and designated smoking areas between gates 7 and 8 and in the west courtyard. The terminal is ADA compliant, and assistance can be requested through your airline or TSA. Only ticketed passengers are allowed past security, although exceptions are made for individuals accompanying minors or others needing special assistance.

Security & Screening
In this section, you will learn about the various security and screening options available at the airport. Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
Phoenix AZA Airport has two security checkpoints located on the upper level of the terminal building. The first one is located near the entrance to the terminal, while the second one is located at the far end of the terminal near the gates. Both checkpoints are equipped with advanced screening technology to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and their belongings.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
AZA Airport offers a Fast Track program for passengers who want to expedite the security screening process. The Fast Track lanes are located at both security checkpoints and are available to passengers who have purchased a Fast Track pass. The pass can be purchased online or at the airport and allows passengers to skip the regular security lines and go through a dedicated Fast Track lane.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
The airport has a single passport and immigration control location located on the lower level of the terminal building. The facility is staffed by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers who are responsible for processing all international arrivals. Passengers are required to present their passport and other travel documents for inspection before being allowed to enter the United States.
TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints
AZA has both TSA and TSA Pre Checkpoints to ensure the safety and security of all passengers. TSA Pre Check is a program that allows expedited screening for trusted travelers, meaning you can keep your shoes, belt, and light jacket on, and your laptop and liquids in your carry-on bag. To use TSA Pre Check, you must apply and be approved for the program.

Global Entry Locations
Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport is an approved Global Entry location, which means that travelers can use the Global Entry program to expedite their entry into the United States. Global Entry is a program that allows pre-approved, low-risk travelers to skip the long lines at customs and immigration. To use Global Entry, you must apply and be approved for the program.
CLEAR Lane Locations

Baggage Claim Areas
AZA has two baggage claim areas located in the terminal building. Baggage claim for Allegiant Air flights is located on the east end of the terminal, while baggage claim for all other airlines is located on the west end. The baggage claim areas are easily accessible and clearly marked with signage throughout the terminal.
