Getting Around the Airport
Quad City International Airport is situated at a distance of five km or three miles south of Moline, partly in Coal Valley Township and partly in Blackhawk Township. It is a public airport for the Rock Island County of Illinois.
The MLI airport won the title of “Illinois Primary Airport of the Year” in the year 2012.
Today, it is the third-busiest commercial airport of Illinois, after Chicago's O'Hare and Midway, in that order.
Main Terminal
The terminal building structure at the MLI airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities.
There are seven main entrance doors to the terminal building, labelled as Door 1-7. These lead to the ticketing counters towards the left and baggage claim carousels towards the right. In between these two there is a Restaurant/Bar, Charter Counter, and Public Conference Room. Services and amenities in this area include ATMs, Therapeutic Massage Chairs, AEDs, Parking Pay Station, Pay Phone, Courtesy Phones, Flight Info Monitors, Restrooms, Vending Machine, and Postal Drop.
Passenger Greeting Area is a corridor which leads to a Security Screening. This area houses Kids Zone, Art Gallery, Flight Info Monitors, Courtesy Phones, Restrooms, and Vending Machine.
The Security Screening provides access to the terminal gate area with Concourse A towards the left and Concourse B towards the right. The terminal gates are labelled as Gate A1-A6 and Gate B7, B8, B8A, B9-B11, B15, and B17.
Services and amenities in Concourse A include ATMs, Therapeutic Massage Chairs, AEDs, Data Ports, Pay Phone, Courtesy Phones, Flight Info Monitors, Restrooms, and Vending Machine.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options in the MHT airport. For dining there is Air Host: Bar/Lounge and a Deli, Coffee Bar, Bar. For shopping there are Gift shops at the MLI airport’s main terminal building.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
