Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)

TEB has one security checkpoint located on the second floor of the terminal building. The checkpoint is open 24/7 and is staffed by TSA agents who screen passengers and their belongings before they board their flights. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before their scheduled departure time to allow enough time for the security screening process.

Fast Track Lanes and Locations

There are no fast track lanes available at Teterboro Airport. However, TSA PreCheck is available for eligible passengers, which allows them to go through an expedited security screening process. Passengers who are enrolled in TSA PreCheck can use the designated lanes and do not need to remove their shoes, belts, or light jackets. They can also leave their laptops and liquids in their carry-on bags.

Passport & Immigration Control Locations

However, the airport is located just 12 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport, which has a full-service customs and immigration facility. Passengers arriving at TEB Airport from international destinations will need to clear customs and immigration at Newark Liberty International Airport before continuing on to their final destination. Private jet passengers can arrange for customs and immigration clearance at the airport through a third-party provider.

Global Entry Locations

Teterboro Airport is not a Global Entry enrollment center, but there are several Global Entry locations nearby, including John F. Kennedy International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport, and LaGuardia Airport.
