Terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson Airport is a major hub for both domestic and international flights. It is the largest airport terminal in Canada and ranks as the 12th largest in the world by floor space, measuring over 346,000 square meters. This terminal primarily serves Air Canada and other Star Alliance airlines, along with ITA Airways, Air North, and Emirates. It features 58 gates, including two that can accommodate the Airbus A380, making it well-equipped for handling a high volume of passengers.

Travelers at Terminal 1 can enjoy a variety of amenities, including eight lounges. Five of these lounges are operated by Air Canada, which include three Maple Leaf Lounges, a Maple Leaf Express Lounge, and a Signature Suite located in the International Zone. Plaza Premium operates the remaining three lounges. Additionally, Air Canada offers an exclusive Air Canada Cafe for premium passengers to enjoy coffee, tea, and snacks.
