Airport Terminal Layout
The airport has a total of five concourses, namely Concourse A, B, C, D, and E, in addition to the Main Terminal. The Main Terminal is divided into three levels, with the arrivals area located on the first level, the departures area on the second level, and the food court and retail shops on the third level. Each concourse is designed to serve specific airlines, with Concourse A serving international flights, Concourse B serving domestic flights, and Concourse C, D, and E serving a mix of both international and domestic flights.
Overview of Terminals
The Main Terminal at YVR is the central hub for all passenger services, including check-in, security screening, baggage claim, and customs. It is home to a variety of retail shops, restaurants, and other amenities, such as currency exchange, ATMs, and baggage storage. Concourse A is located adjacent to the Main Terminal and primarily serves international flights, while Concourse B is located on the opposite end and serves domestic flights. Getting Between Terminals
Passengers can easily get between the Main Terminal and the concourses by using the airport's automated people mover system, known as the Canada Line. The Canada Line is a fast and efficient way to travel between the Main Terminal and all five concourses. It operates 24/7 and is free of charge. Additionally, passengers can also use the airport's shuttle bus service, which runs between the Main Terminal and Concourse A, B, and C, or walk through the airport's pedestrian walkway, which connects all five concourses with the Main Terminal.

Locations of Security Checkpoint(s)
YVR has several security checkpoints located throughout the airport. The main security checkpoint is located in the main terminal, before the departure gates. There are also security checkpoints located in each of the concourses, including Concourse A, Concourse B, Concourse C, Concourse D, and Concourse E. These checkpoints are easily accessible and well-marked, making it easy for passengers to find their way.
Fast Track Lanes and Locations
For passengers who want to get through security quickly, Vancouver Airport offers Fast Track lanes. These lanes are available to passengers who have purchased a Fast Track pass or who are members of certain airline loyalty programs. Fast Track lanes are located in the main terminal and in each of the concourses. Look for signs indicating the location of the Fast Track lanes.
Passport & Immigration Control Locations
Passport and immigration control at Vancouver Airport is located in the main terminal, after security. There are several passport control booths available to process passengers quickly and efficiently. Once you have cleared passport control, you will be directed to the baggage claim area to collect your luggage. Airport Lounge Locations
YVR Airport offers a variety of lounges for travelers to relax and unwind before their flight. The lounges are located in different terminals and concourses throughout the airport, making them easily accessible for all passengers.
The major airline lounges at the airport include the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge, located in Concourse D, and the WestJet Elevation Lounge, located in the Domestic Terminal. Other lounges available include the Plaza Premium Lounge, located in Concourse D, and the SkyTeam Lounge, located in Concourse E. Additionally, there are several independent lounges such as the Club at YVR and the American Express Lounge, both located in the Main Terminal.
Baggage Claim Areas
Upon arrival at YVR, passengers can easily locate their baggage claim area by following the signs and overhead screens. There are four baggage claim areas in the main terminal, conveniently located near the exits. Each concourse also has its own baggage claim area. If you require assistance with your luggage, there are porters available to help you. They can be identified by their red uniforms and are located in the baggage claim areas and departure areas.
Luggage Storage Locations
If you need to store your luggage while at Vancouver Airport, there are left luggage facilities available. These facilities are located in the arrivals area of the main terminal and are open 24 hours a day. The cost for storage varies depending on the size of your luggage and the length of time you need to store it. You can pay with cash or credit card, and your luggage will be securely stored until you are ready to retrieve it.
