Getting Around the Airport
Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is serving south-central Kansas and the City of Wichita.
The Airport is located at the west side of the City, and is close to Interstate Hwy I-35 and US Hwy 54/400.
With 6M passengers in 2016, Wichita Airport is served by major airlines and their affiliated regional jet services, offering nonstop flights to many U.S. destinations (the most daily flights depart for Dallas/Ft. Worth and Minneapolis), with connections around the globe.
Main Terminal
The terminal building structure at the ICT airport has one main terminal building which houses all airport facilities. It has two main levels.
Level 1 houses the baggage claim carousels towards the left and airline ticketing counters towards the right. Services and amenities on this level include Information Desk, Hotel Information, ATM, Parking Pay Station, Vending Machine, Pay Phone, Mail Box, Elevators/Escalators, and Restrooms.
Level 2 houses a centralized security checkpoint which provides access to the terminal gate areas. This includes the terminal gates labelled Gates 1-12. Services and amenities on this level include Vending Machine, Animal Relief Area, Kid’s Play Area, Mail Box, Elevators/Escalators, and Restrooms and Family Restrooms.
Gates 1, 2 is served by Delta Air Lines, Gate 3 is served by Allegiant Air, Gates 4 and 5 is served by Southwest Airlines, Gate 5 is served by Frontier Airlines, Gates 6 and 7 is served by American Airlines, Gates 8 and 9 is served by United Airlines, and Gate 11 is served by Alaska Airlines.

Food, Shops & Amenities
There are various shopping and dining options in the ICT airport. For dining there is Air Capital Bar, Chick-fil-A, Dunkin Donuts, Grab & Fly, Aviators Cafe, and River City Brewing Co., and for shopping there is Air Capital Market, CNBC Express, and CNBC Smartshop.
Terminal Tips
- Passengers are advised to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure time to account for TSA security wait times and any possible delays.
- To ensure a smooth check-in process, passengers should pack carry-on luggage in a suitable manner, have photo ID ready, and read all the airline guidelines properly prior to arriving at the airport.
- No unattended baggage will be allowed inside the terminal building. You must keep your bags with you at all times.
