I am coming from Oman air from Muscat and need to travel to Bremen by Lufthansa and the connection time is 2 hrs. Is it sufficient? I have single ticket from KTM-Musat (Oman Air), Muscat -Frankfurt (Oman Air) and Frankfurt-Bremen (Lufthansa)
That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I'm travelling from Bucharest, Romania to Geneva, Switzerland, with connecting flight in Frankfurt, Lufthansa airlines. In Frankfurt, do I need to go first to passport control or directly to the connection gate?
You will go through Schengen Entry passport control and to your departure gate.
Arriving from Dubai on Emirates at 13:15 terminal 2, depart 15:10 terminal 1 on Luftansa to Dubrovnik, I hope to have my luggage booked from Sydney through to Dubrovnik, will I have plenty of time to get my flight to Dubrovnik? Thank you
That will be difficult. Only possible if everything goes perfectly.
making connection from a Delta flt Flying Detroit to Frankfurt arriving 9:20 am and connecting to Airberlin flight at 10:50am. Just carry on bags , will we make the connection in time? Is it in another terminal?
Both flights are in Terminal 2. If your flight from Detroit is on-time and you check in online for your Air Berlin flight you should have just enough time.
Hello! We purchased our SEA>TXL flight from Condor and have been booked on a Lufthansa flight for our FRA>TXL leg.
Our itinerary shows that we have about 1 hour before our LH connecting flight begins boarding.
1) Is that enough time to get through customs?
2) Do we have to recheck our luggage?
3) we are a family of 3 (including a 7-year old)...given the tight connection, should we try to travel with carry-on only to ensure we make our connecting flight?
Thanks in advance!!!
Yes, that is enough time. You don't have to do anything with your luggage.
I am flying Lufthansa from DFW to FRA connecting from FRA to MAN on Lufthansa. I have a 2 hour connection. Do I have to clear immigration? Do I connect in the same terminal?
All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate because you are not entering the Schengen Area. Both flights are in Terminal 1.
I am flying from IAD to FRA on United connecting to Manchester, UK on Lufthansa with a 2 1/2 hour connection time. Do I have to clear immigration? Do I have to change terminals?
All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate because you are not entering the Schengen Area. Both flights are in Terminal 1. You have plenty of time.
I fly from Denver to Florence with the connection in Frankfurt on Lufthansa on the same reservation. I have 1-1/2 hour layover will this be enough time to make my connecting flight and will I be in the same terminal for arrival and departure?
Yes, that is enough time and yes, both flights will be in Terminal 1.
I have a similar flight scheduled from Boston to Rome with connection in Frankfurt and a 1 hr 35 min layover. Glad to know it is enough time. How does this work for passport control? Is it within the terminal?
Yes, passport control is in the terminal on the way to your departure gate.
If I understand correctly, Z and A are both in Terminal 1 but Z is up,a level from A, is that correct? Are there any tips for direction heading down to A from Z (for, example if arriving at Z54 and leaving from A50 or A15)? Is it similar to (my experience recently) connecting in Amsterdam where there will be a "Passport Control" checkpoint in between Z and going to A where we'll get our passports stamped?
Yes, Z is on a different level from A but is essentially the same set of gates. Yes, there will be passport control in FRA.
I'll be arriving in Frankfurt at 4:25pm and departing to Chicago at 5:15pm. Is 50m enough to make the connection?
Yes, that is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
